Smooth experiance on Zenless Zone Zero, or lack of it.

Heeelp. I try to run Zenless Zone Zero on Steamdeck, but it's run crappy. As far I saw other videos, people have flawless gameplaye - stable 60 FPS. Not me though. First I had awful stutter, literally unplayable. I changed VRAM settings in bios for 4GB, and it was better, far better. But I still have hitches and fps drops, and it sucks. For what I saw with overlay, ZZZ usually use a lot of GPU (70-90%) and a lot of CPU (50-65/70%). I noticed It also use to 9 GB of RAM, and I didn't noticed it goes above it, so maybe its something with RAM... Also, idk if it's VRAM leak or something, but when I start game and go on arena to grind some metal, it's use up to 2gb VRAM, but then it's increase, and doesn't decrease, so it can hit to 3 gb VRAM while just walking city (But idk about it, maybe thats normal.) I tried different Proton, as well as I used Cryoutilities, but it didn't helped much...

Lower the settings, or play it on PC / console if you want 60+ fps.

Also 60 fps is not really 60, it's more like 56 to 59..... and then u feel the stutter.

yeah, lowering didn't help. No matter what it will stutter. But I have micro lags even on my high end PC while playing Zenless, so I guess Steamdeck is just not built for that game.

Not all games are 100% compatible with the deck.

A 100% compatibility means that on LOW sistem req will runn at 60+ fps at all times with no micro stutters, no less.

Not the first time a game Minimal sistem req has nothing to do with the game's actual minimal sistem req ( cough CS2... cough cs2 ) :))

yeah, I figured it out already. A lot of games that I was interested in playing on steam deck doesn't work flawlessly :(

[Verdict]

Game works fine for me installed via Junk Store.... I play on all low with locked 45fps and it rarely drops below 45, Its a smooth experience actually.

Could it be thermal throttling?

Even with the Honkai Impact 3rd, the deck was so hot that I thought it might break.

I'll either need to modify it to improve cooling, or if that's not possible, I'll buy a product from another company that has a cooling capacity of 30W.
