Right Trigger Spring Replacement

So I don't know what could have gotten inside of my right trigger but pressing it felt mushy and it wouldn't come up right away after being pressed.

So I decided to open it and clean the entire right trigger to fix the problem, but now I have a new problem.

When putting it back together I was trying to get the trigger to clip back in only to have the spring shoot out. I have no clue where it went and I've been looking for two hours now.

I want to order a replacement but I am going to be leaving soon on a trip and kind of need to fix it before then. Is there any common electronic I could maybe salvage a similar spring from to use as a replacement or would it be easier just to keep hunting down that spring instead?

Probably another game controller? they all use similar springs

Thought of that but most of them use different types of springs instead.

The Xbox one for instance uses a v shape spring

If this pic contains correct dimensions of the parts , maybe it helps u to derive length and diameter of the spring in order to look for a quick replacement...just a thought...

So it took me a bit but, I had a old broken third party original Xbox controller laying around I had been meaning to fix and realised it had a proper spring trigger in it and took it out.

The spring was originally to big and I had no choice but to cut it down a little, but weirdly enough it works. The trigger now has a bit more resistance but I'm not gonna lie, its actually kind of nice and once I get back from my trip I may end up looking for similar, and newer, springs to replace both with for that higher resistance feel.
