Steam Deck. Proton 7.0 and 8.0
Hello! Sorry for my stupid question but anyway. I've installed the new version of Proton 8.0, and now I see that two versions of Proton - 7.0 and 8.0 are presented on my Steam Deck (also I've Steam Linux Runtime Sniper & Soldier) . Can I uninstall older applications(Proton 7.0 and Soldier) or would be better to keep all of them on my Steam Deck? Thank you!

It depends on your games. Keep in mind that Valve "suggests" Proton versions for certain games (i.e. they could recommend a 7.x version). It's not always guaranteed that game which works on an older version of Proton will work on a newer one.
