Desktop mode icon blank?
Anyone else have this problem, only happens in desktop mode. The icons are not gone, they are there, but some of them are blank... The box art is missing. Happens periodically and to random games, not all but a few here and there. Only solution is to re-download the box art and apply.

It happens to non-steam games only.

Steam 3.5 beta has a new .desktop for game mode.

The .desktop and artwork are located in
/usr/share/applications/steam/steamos-nested-desktop

To apply the artwork, the process is quite involved. I believe Valve is missing support for adding x-* properties in .desktop files. They might add it soon to skip this long process.
