Can´t upgrade windows 10 to 11
I have Windows 10 installed on a SD card. Recently i received a notification from windows saying that the device was compatible with windows 11 and asking me if i want to upgrade.

I decide to install but when the process was in progress, I received an error message that says windows cannot upgrade because the PC has a disk design not admitted for UEFI firmware.

Anybody knows how can I upgrade?

I know that reinstalling windows 11 on the SD is a solution but I'd rather prefer to upgrade instead reinstalling.

Thanks for any help!!!

...in all seriousness, upgrading to Win11 is simply a bad idea at this time. The "features" are essentially removal of control + extra resource usage overall.

What you really want to do is slim down your Win10 install for the Deck.

If you want Windows 11 just do a fresh installation with Rufus on your SD card

I agree with previous replies, but while I believe running more Windows than absolutely necessary is a bad idea nor do I like unhelpful comments so your issue is that your partition is MBR instead of GPT and you'd need to convert it if you wish to proceed.

I not a partition. I have windows installed on a Micro SD card.

I was looking for an answer in other forums but i think the only solution is to do a clean install

Yes the partition on the SD Card is formatted as MBR instead of GPT, you need to get it converted if you want to use the official upgrade tool or use the many 3rd party workarounds to get W11 upgrades to work without meeting the requirements or just leave it be, there's no advantage to 11 anyways.
