How to fschk?
How do I check/repair internal storage? It hung a few times trying to start a game under preview and I rebooted. Want to make sure disk structure is still okay.

Thanks, T

There may be a few ways, but here a post on it:

Steam OS uses btrfs for it's internal drive and EXT4 on the external drive. The first one is a CoW (copy on write) filesystem the second one is a journaling filesystem. Those are modern filesystems and the likelihood of them getting corrupted is very low and if at any point there is a chance for corruption they will run fsck (Linux equivalent to fschk) on their own. By default fsck on those filesystems takes a really short time as it only validates data that was in flight when power cut occurred.

Since Steam Deck does not use spinning media there is really no point in running fsck manually.

Thanks for the responses. Essentially, during a reboot, it will do it if needed?
