No, I am using Manjaro XFCE.
The process below usually works without fail when transferring from PC to PC.
I copied ALL required files from install folder to an external NVME drive with the intention of dropping them into the .steam \ steamapps folder however the folder on the deck is hidden and I am unable to unhide as i am unable to evoke the onscreen keyboard despite pressing Steam button and X button.
I then tried a different approach. I Enabled the "external" drive within steam desktop mode as a 3rd drive within the steam ui. Steam now recognises the drive and game but i am unable to transfer the files to the internal NVME drive on the deck (denied error at end) and the game also fails to launch. I am guessing some form of DRM is at play here.
I tried verifying files (on the deck) and switching to proton experimental with again no success.
You can unhide folders by clicking on the hamburger menu on the top right of the file browser and checking "Show hidden files."
And the onscreen keyboard should work in desktop mode as long as steam is running.
I was able to unhide using a Bluetooth mouse.
I am going to try this one more time and if it does not work then I will try the backup route as "Reboot" suggests.
I will give that a try.
