XBox Cloud - We'll be right back error
Hi, looking online I seem to be the only person with this error. The only other post I found on Reddit was resolved on a different network. I have followed the guide to set up Edge (not beta) and the Xbox cloud starts up fine. After choosing a game it's seems to be loading, then flashes up the XBox logo, then after a few seconds of black screen I get the we'll be right back error.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
Tried beta version of O/S
Tried different router
Tried resetting router to default
Tried another network
Tried wired network via dock
Tried factory reset and started setup again

Always the same error.

Has anybody got any advice on this?

Thanks.

Jan

Just to make sure, is the title streamable or does it require installation?

It works through the Edge browser - it’s just normal Xcloud.

OP, no idea how that’s happening. It should just “fix” itself. I’ve had happen but usually it rights itself when I launch the game a second time.

I recommend re-doing the whole setup only following the Valve approved Microsoft guide and no YouTubers.

Be sure to check for spaces - copy and pasting on the deck is a pain.

I know how it works, I used the free month pass via streaming to an Android tablet. However, not all titles can be streamed. If he/she picks one that cannot be streamed, it will fail on SteamOS.

The service doesn’t list titles that can’t be streamed. Every pre-approved title that’s part of xcloud should stream just fine.

Also, it seems OP has issues with every game.

Hi all, yes I have issues with all I have tried that I can stream on my laptop without issue. I have retried from the Microsoft instructions several times and I've used keyboard and mouse so copy and paste issues should not be a factor. I even tried removing the space after the @@ as a test and that caused earlier errors.

As it fails within the edge browser it feels like it can only be Network related, but I have nothing that should be affecting in and as said earlier have also tried at my son's house where his internet is very much out of the box setup.

Very frustrating.

I have just tested installing edge on my Android phone. Xbox Cloud works great, so changing my last post, I don't think it can be network.

OMG! I have just got it to work. Cleared everything for the nn time. But also signed out of edge and cleared all history. Then did NOT allow the sign in and sync via edge. Also added en-GB after xbox.com. So, not sure which of these fixed it. But hope this helps if anyone else gets this issue.

Glad you got it sorted! Such an odd bug.

Thanks for the update. You’re right, hopefully this helps someone else.
