FedEx claimed delivered but package not received.

I finally received my turn to purchase my steamdeck and paid for it on 2nd of September. Truth is, im purchasing outside US and indicated the intended delivery address to a trusted forwarder which I've used before. The SD was supposed to reach the forwarder latest by the 9th Sep but FedEx indicated via the tracking that it arrived on the 7th, 2 days earlier to my surprise.

So when that happened, I emailed my forwarder to process my package. However, my forwarder responded that they never received and checked with the forwarding staff and that took 3 days. I would say that I would believe this forwarding company as they have been rather reliable. I panicked and decided to file for a claim with FedEx. That process took another few days and responded that it was delivered. I also emailed steam support on the 7th and after a few more messages, this R*** guy told me to check with FedEx instead.

I'm really kind screwed right now. Seems all parties are not willing to assist. I'm especially disappointed with the response from steam support.

Can anyone advise what my next steps are? Appreciate greatly.

idk, wether that fowarding service was reliable or not, thats the risk u took, unless u can somehow go to the forwarding service with proof that it was delivered and demand from them compensation, u r outta luck, steam would be responsible if u used or they used a wrong address, fedex would be if they delivered to the wrong address, would just chalk it up for a loss, reorder one and not use a forwarding service

Did FedEx provide any proof of delivery like a photo?

They just threw mine in my yard in the rain. Clearly Valve needs a different shipper. Fedex just stopped caring.

FED EX IS GARBAGE! I've had many bad experiences with fed ex and im expecting my steam deck soon. Most the time the package comes beat up really bad or lots of excuses why they couldn't deliver. Lost packages too... its extremely unreliable. Some how the person trying to get the package is held accountable.

Well there is a lot of wanna be gangsters who think there bd's or gd's at that facility they ship out of, which has me worried considering im from/ was raised in illinois.
