Steam Deck Offline Games
Hello guys. Can you suggest some good games that you can play for a long time without internet connection? I am a seafarer and I need some games that I can play offline while I am onboard.

You can play Dont Starve and Stardew Valley infinity. They are also both highly replayable games

Bloodstained, Afterimage and LOST EPIC would probably suffice. There's more but these 3 worked for me based on experience.

Most games that don't have a 3rd party launcher and aren't an online only title will be fine. Unfortunately, some of them you just have to do some research. You can usually just go to the games discussion forums and search for "offline". In the majority of the cases, someone will have asked or tried it.

So, basically, most of games without 3rd party EULA should be fine in offline mode? For example, I saw many people recommending Hollow Knight to play offline. Do you have some interesting games like that?

For the most part yes. There are sometimes some weird things the devs may had done (or not done) around offline mode. For example, some games never update their acheivements when they go back online. Some games have issues with saved games when offline. You won't be able to look at the game page to find these. You'll only find those by searching the game's discussions.

That being said, if you like Hollow Knight, that can take you down a path where the majority of games will work offline. Try using the Steam search function by doing this:

* Go to the Hollow Knight game page
* Where you see the categories/tags assigned to it, click on "Metroidvania"
* On the Metrovania screen, scroll down to where the lists are and you see "All Games"
* Open up "Narrow By"
* Open up "Visuals & Viewpoint"
* Select "2D"

That will filter games that will be similar to Hollow Knight in game type to browse through. Also try the same but instead of selecting "Metroidvania", pick "Platformers".
