Minecraft bedrock

I installed windows on the Steam Deck. Good for Roblox and lots of other stuff but the bedrock version of Minecraft won't work with multiplayer unless it's a public server. Switch, my PC, tablet, all works fine with cross play. Any reason why steam deck doesn't work here?

i dont know i tried instaling windows myself for madden nfl 24 and minecraft but the windows installer wont detect my sd card
