Also a proper USB-C cable can have from 6 (if it's USB 2.0 cable without cable power) to 19 (if it's USB 3.2 cable and has cable power) conductors inside (including the metal cable shielding, connected to the USB-C plug metal exterior). Steam Deck charger has 11 USB-C pins, but only 5 unique, so inside there should be 5 wires + metal shielding so 6 conductors. I don't think it can get any thinner or more flexible than this.
But it's definitely not a stiff cable though.
You are definitely overthinking way too many things considering all these threads you are creating. I know, you want your SD to have a long life, but as long as you use it in a normal manner, you should be fine. It‘s not a new born or something, just enjoy it! 😀
