Steam Deck

Idle game running on PC, play something else on Deck?
So I know that Steam limits you in the way that you can't play games with the same account on multiple devices at the same time, though would this still be an issue if it's just an idle game, such as Cookie Clicker? Often times I tend to leave that running in my office while I sit in the living room and relax.

Unless your Deck is in offline mode, it won't let you play while the idle game is running.

Such simple solutions I tend not to think about lol thank you both, and anything played in offline mode, do you know if they will still sync to steam cloud when it connects again?

It should if it's supported.

Can confirm this. I play almost exclusively offline (train to/from work), and once I'm back online achievements and save data is all synced. It might not sync immediately, but it will eventually sync. It tends to mess with the time played as well as exactly when achievements were unlocked, but that's pretty minor. Also slightly amusing as according to Steam I unlocked a number of achievements in one game before I ever played it.
