Heroic games not working

Using the steam deck, I've been playing games loaded through heroic launcher, also a few games through emudeck.
All of a sudden my heroic games don't launch. They go to the steam logo for a few second and then crash. Same in desktop mode. A small black box flashes up and the. Crash.
If I uninstall emudeck and heroic and only install heroic they all open (except Cygni) and play fine. But if I install emudeck they go back to crashing.

Unsure if it may be fixed in a HL update in the future. Tried different wines to no affect.
