Hyperlinks not working, trying through the psplay app on desktop mode

So i am trying to resolve the hyperlinks is on my steamdeck where web pages wont open in desktop mode. To give some background to the issue, i am trying to open the redirect page on th psplay remote play app so i can remote play my ps5 on my steamdeck, from a different network than my local. When i click the link to take me to the sony redirect page, chrome opens for about 5 second then closes. I did some research and found its a bug and you need to enter the following in the konsole terminal command

systemctl restart --user xdg-desktop-portal

When i hit enter it goes to a new line but this hasnt fixed it and the hyperlink still doesnt open?

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix as its sending me to the neverealm!
