Trying to format old SSD and Flash drive used on SD
So I bought a 1tb OLED and almost immediately installed a 2tb SSD. I picked up a "Dockcase" off amazon and I'm trying to use the old 1tb as an external on my gaming PC for music and movies. I know I need to format the original SSD but I cant get windows to even recognize it.

I can use the drive utility in desktop mode on the SD but I can only view the drive and cannot format as I don't have the option given to me.

Lastly I have the same issue on a 128gb flash drive I used as a disk image for installing Steam OS back on my SD after playing with parts of linux I shouldn't have been.

what can I use, or is there a process I can do to actually get these as workable drives again?

SD Desktop mode (?) might be able to fix it... Reformat it or wipe everything on them with out reformatting them

In Windows Disk Management, you don't see the SSD connected to the PC? You can't just format it. You have to delete all partitions, create a new one, and then you should have the "format" option.

You can create a new partition table and destroy all your old data. You can create a new 1 TB partition for you stuff.

Microsoft never cared about Linux file system. They will not implement support of the box

I can see a 127mb partition on the 1tb and 131mb partition on the 128gb one. I cant delete or create anything outside of that 130mb partition on either.
