Steam Deck

Steam Deck

Display has almost zero contrast and is completely tinted with light green
Got my steam deck OLED today and when I turned it on, the screen was a very light but bright green instead of black. I figured the color and contrast settings were just off, but I've tried every setting combination I can think off with absolutely no improvement. I've read into the green tint issue that people are having, but this is not it. If I turn the brightness down, I can't see anything on the screen anymore because of the lack of contrast. If I max the brightness out it looks a little better, but everything is still washed out and completely tinted green.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it would be nice to not immediately return something I've waited all year to buy lol

Valve probably got the panels cheap from Samsung. After reading many months of random bug reports from reddit and this forum, I can safely say that the limited edition BOE Oled panels were probably better quality than Samsungs panels at Valve's price range.

Try to RMA it I guess. Normal panel RNG.
