your experiences with emulation

Thinking about getting a deck, mostly to emulate psp/ps2/ps3 and I'd love to hear from people with recent experience doing so. How did you find it?

Emudeck makes it easy.

PSP and PS2 emulation are perfect, basically flawless experiences. PS3 is hit or miss. Some games are really good. Others not so much, with performance and graphical issues.

I used and recommend retrodeck, the emu experience is amazingly tight. Steam deck even has the power to run shaders, i dont think id ever do emulation without my crt and lcd shaders anymore.

emudeck vs retrodeck is preference i suppose, but i prefer retrodeck because it keeps all your emu stuff in one place + the benefits of using retroarch, whereas emudeck kind of sprays emu stuff all over the system.
