Well, it arrived. Box has taken a beating (looks like it was jammed into a belt or something?), but the deck itself is perfectly fine.
Oh, not so bothered about any delays; more StarTrack have a tendency to loose packages, destroy packages, just plain not deliver packages, and otherwise do anything possible to make life unpleasant when dealing with them.
If you have had bad experience with StarTrack & worried about your delivery compromised intentionally or unintentionally I would give StarTrack a call & lodge a ticket.
The reason to lodge a ticket is as I found out it flags your delivery as been monitored by their internal customer team an extra later of internal scrutiny that the driver is actually made aware of at delivery. It’s also easier to get into customer service should there be issues with delivery.
For reference mine came yesterday in pristine condition including external cupboard box not even a dent. I actually asked the delivery driver to wait ~1 min whilst I opened the external box to inspect double check and then signed.
Interesting, Valve isn't requiring a signature on delivery.
