Steam Deck on Canadian Tax Holiday

Hi there, I was looking for some kind of confirmation of what product 'type' the Steam Deck is. I've seen it described as both a handheld PC Device and a handheld Gaming Console. The reason I ask is because starting December 14th here in Canada there will be a two month moratorium on federal sales taxes on consumer goods which includes children's toys and as a sub-category includes "Video-game consoles, controllers or physical game media (e.g., a video-game cartridge or disc)." so I'm basically trying to discern if the Deck would be a qualifying purchase which would save me a solid 50 bucks off if so. Just trying here before sending a question ticket down more official avenues. Thank you
