KDE Connect broken?

What has Valve done to KDE Connect?
First of all I had to enable the service in firewalld.
Now it will pair, and my phone will think it's connected, but no functions will actually work.
My phone does not appear in the KDE Connect paired list, but Deck does appear paired on phone.

This has worked in the past, although I don't recall Steam giving the pairing notifications back then as it does now.
I can only assume this was an attempt to get it working natively in Game Mode without a Decky plugin (yes please) but has seemingly broken it entirely.

Ah I had it working before but now it doesn't show up on the phone app anymore. What happened?
