Steam deck geek squad qeuestion (best buy)
ok so i hear that i can take my steam deck to geek squad (the best buy one) but i have some questions and of course concerns for starters (possibly 3 questions)

1. will it cost extra money or depends?

2.they will transfer my date to a new TB right? (yes i need extra TB and trying my best to save up and get this)

As a former Geek Squad agent, I recommend you go elsewhere. Agents are typically completely untrained in doing actual tech work. They're glorified salespeople. Their goal will not be to take care of your device. It will be to sell you more stuff. I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and sell you "optimization" services or tell you that you need to buy and pay for the installation of an anti-virus software you don't need.

Shop around and find an actual, reputable tech who is fair and will install the upgrade for you. Geek Squad ain't it.

I would find a shop that specializes in "small electronics" repairs. Something like a place that does phone and tablet repairs.

And just that it’s a no is it? And I think I found places like “ibreakufix”

wait i got another one if i do mangae to install 2tb all my data will be there right?
