How to add Non Steam Games to Steam Library on my Steam Deck
Hi guys,

after a full reset of my Steam Deck I wanted to install some Non Steam Games from my EA- and ubisoft account.

So I just installed NonSteamLaunchers (battlenet, epic, EA, GOG, amazon and ubi) and every thing works fine. But after installing a Non Steam game, there is no shortcut in my steam library to start to start it directly.

Before my OS reset it works fine and the system creates a shortcut of e.g. Assassin's Creed to my Library and I could create a ubi collection with it and just start the game directly from steam.

What can I do to get the shortcuts from the Non Steam Games without adding them manually to Steam? I'm not sure if I have to install an extra tool, plugin or software.

I want to avoid to add them all manually because I'll have to search for every single install directory.

Best regards

Easiest is to put all the non-steam game folders into a directory at the same level as the steamapps directory. Call it something like non-steam.

Add each non-steam game using the link in the lower left corner of the Desktop Mode Steam App. Then navigate through the Desktop Mode Library page to the added non-steam game. Click on the gear icon, then on Manage, and there you can "Add a Desktop shortcut".

This shortcut will appear then, even in Gaming Mode, included with the games listed under your library.

I've currently got about 150 non-steam games added this way. Works fine.
