Steam deck power button
Now I believe I have a wave 1 LCD Steam Deck. The power button intermittently functions. When the device is on it works great aside from some bad thermal throttling when running new AAA games. But the power button doesn't w9rk consistently. The system is slow to respond to the button, regardless of if I'm pressing it to enter sleep mode or powering it on and off.

1. Is this problem fixed in the OLED models?

2. Is this a hardware issue?

Looks like a hardware problem, really. Looks like the button in your specific deck got a loose connection of sorts. Contact Steam support, this may end up an RMA case.
