Steam Deck crashes when Discord running

So recently I was trying to play some Eldenring Multiplayer with a friend.
I had Discord running in the background so we could talk.

The game kept freezing and I was mostly unable to operate the deck whatsoever. When I pressed the Steam button i would hear the menu sounds but it wouldn‘t show up so I had to restart the deck multiple times.

There doesn‘t seem to be any particular reason either from what i can tell. Sometimes it would run perfectly fine for 30minutes. Sometimes it would crash seconds after starting the game.

Did anybody else run into a similar issue?
Does anybody know a solution for this?

I have a deck on the way, but Im pretty sure discord isn’t supposed to run on the deck. It’s for steam games.

were you streaming to discord? I had the same problem but only when streaming. (even on my desktop)

I wasn‘t streaming. Just voice chat.

Without discord in the background the game runs like a charm.

try using profile setting for each game, running disord on compability "experimental". i using disord while played NFS Heat, No man sky, few AAA game, running prefectly fine without have problem in lagging or crash.
