Workaround for connecting my iphone to steam deck running windows

Basically the title, need to get my phone to connect to the steam deck so itunes can recognise it and so then i can side load apps to my iphone, since my steam deck is my daily driver.

no, i tried it and there was no chime to say it was recognised nor was there the device symbol in itunes i also looked at device manager and nothing appeared or disappeared but my phone still receives charge from the steam deck

go into bios and toggle usb mode between DRD and XHCI. it might need to get toggled (toggle, reboot, test) more than once!

i have tried this step already and nothing different occurred, i don’t think it’s a problem with my steam deck since it recognises a usb drive

So i can install third party apps onto my phone which is also known as side loading apps

i have tried this step already and nothing different occurred, i don’t think it’s a problem with my steam deck since it recognises a usb drive

maybe your phone cable is crap then, if flashdrives work then everything else should work too
