Weird Question: When totally shut down but NOT in long term storage mode, how quickly does the battery drain?

I've seen some people saying that even shutdown their deck will drain 10% overnight, but then I've seen some people say when their's will only drain a couple percent a week. I mainly ask because I have one coming soon and my usage pattern is likely to be intermittent. I typically will expect to use it in bursts and then not use it for a few weeks to a month or two. As such I don't want the battery to completely drain while it's sitting around, but I don't really want to keep it sitting around on a charger either.

I'm aware that the deck is optimized to maintain battery health when plugged in all the time, but it's more for convenience that I'd rather put it away when I'm not using it instead of leaving it plugged in. For example, I optimized the power on my laptop (Which has similar usage patterns) to only drain a few % of the battery every week or so in order to stay put away in between usage. Ideally I'd like to do the same with my deck if necessary. Ultimately I'll do some battery testing myself when it arrives, but any advance information would be appreciated!
