How can I save an uncompressed screenshot now?
I've found several tutorials, but the option mentioned doesn't exist.
Steam > Settings > In-Game > tick Save an uncompressed copy
Is it a bug in recent client/system versions or it's just my Deck goes wrong?
Actually I've reinstalled the system but the option still doesn't show up.

I'm having the exact same issue. Why was this option removed, and is there a replacement?
Default screenshots simply have unacceptable quality, so I'd really appreciate if someone knows how to enable HQ screenshots now.

I have the exact same problem.
I do not see the settings section regarding uncompressing screenshots.
Have you tried contacting Steam support?
Maybe it is a glitch.

Have you tried changing it in the desktop client instead?

It's no longer in the desktop client either, the desktop client looks identical to the screenshot OP posted

I've found an interesting issue here: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/9479
It appeared that since the uncompressed screenshot didn't work well, they just removed it.
