Cryoutilities 2.0 experiences?
I found out about this tool yesterday.
I installed it and set it up as recommended, didn't have much time to test but i noticed a MASSIVE increase in performance with big battles on M&B Bannerlord.
(Stresstested it with max amount of troops on screen and it was somehow as stable as captain PvP in smaller numbers was before).

I did some googling to see if people did some similar testing and i noticed people on Reddit were not much of a fan.
They said it barely makes a difference, especially after steam OS 3.5, is the latter true?

I'm going to test more games when i have time, i'm just curious if this will have more of a negative impact than a positive one in most titles?

Steam OS 3.6 uses ZRAM now, so CryoUtilities is largely ineffective now. However, PowerTools make a significant difference in performance in games. I can achieve ~10 frames in some games when I override the TDP to 30 watts instead of the default 15, which means the CPU and GPU are drawing more power. If you’re plugged in, as I usually am, it helps a lot.
I never heard of powertools, is it as easy to use as cryoutilities?
I'm the kind of guy that could use a very easy to use tool but would rather not mess around with stuff i don't understand.

Also would overriding the TDP and raising it to 30 watts have any negative effect on the hardware in any way? Like a significantly shorter lifespan or chance of failure?

Sorry for the late response, but no, I have experienced no issues on the hardware side of things using PowerTools, and I have been using it regularly for a year now. You do, however, need to have Decky Loader installed if you don't already have it just to get PowerTools.
