Remapping button presses from a Wacom CTH-470 drawing tablet to keyboard shortcuts in desktop mode?
I dug up one of my old drawing tablets from 2012 and out of curiosity tried to use it with my Macbook and Windows computer - quickly discovered that any functionality it might have with newer operating systems has completely deteriorated and the workarounds to restoring the tablet to a useable state with these systems are a massive headache.

As a last resort (and to my complete surprise) plugging the receiver into my docked Steamdeck in desktop mode allows the tablet to work not just as a cursor but a nearly functional drawing tablet with pen pressure and the side button of the pen itself already mapped to the "grab" function for panning a canvas in Krita.

Where I'm running into issues now is a viable way to make the 4 shortcut keys on the tablet register to certain keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Z undo/redo etc). Going thru the system settings I've found that my Steamdeck is recognizing the tablet as a "Game Controller" input device - testing the buttons on the tablet registers a "pressed" status for each one in this menu... so I know that all these buttons are doing *something*

Is there a convenient way to change my Steamdeck's system settings to make it so that pressing one of these buttons is registered as a specific keystroke?
