PS5 controller issues - steam remote play & chiaki4deck

So, I just got my steam deck and have been busy configuring it for all possible use cases. For the most part, everything works fine, but there are some edge cases I can't get to work properly and it concerns when using the steam dock + a PS5 controller for playing on the big screen. For both use cases, the deck in is the dock, connected to a big screen tv and I have a PS5 controller connected to the steam deck over bluetooth.

1. Chiaki4deck
Since chiaki4deck supports PS5 natively, I opted to turn off the steam controller mapping for this application. The problem arises due to the how the ps-button is mapped. In steam os, it is natively mapped to open the steam menu. In chiaki it functions as the ps-button as it should.
Problem is, both things happens simultaneously so when I play a ps5-game using chiaki and press the ps-button, the steam menu and the ps-menu opens simultaneously and when pressing the dpad I navigate both the ps5 and the steam menu at the same time, making it hard to foresee what will happen if I make a selection.
Is there a way to force steam os to not use the ps-button for the steam menu and assign it to something else? Preferably a combination of button presses so it does not conflict with the native PS5 experience?

2. Steam remote play
I cannot open the steam deck keyboard from my PS5-controller. Normally when running steam games installed locally this is not a problem, as it will sense if there is a text input field and automatically toggle the keyboard. When streaming a game from my PC rig, this does not work and I dont get the keyboard popping up. I found no way of toggling the keyboard using my PS5-controller neither. This is particularly problematic when streaming valheim from my PC and trying to connect to a password protected server, as it requires me to enter a password.
Is there a way to bring up the steam keyboard using the PS5-controller? Playing handheld with the steam deck works fine and the steam+X works as intended but I cannot seem to map this functionality to the PS5 controller.
