come from Valve - we'll see what's next.
I've been waiting for ages that Valve will release their own GPUs. But that's still close to impossible and probably not in the near future. :-P
Steam Deck & Switch OLED Scalpers Are Already Out of Control...

Or if cryptos crash totally if they're outlawed... don't think the globalists are too happy about cryptocurrencies and looking to make moves against them.
But it all looks like it will take years to get a GPU that doesn't cost as much as a harvested kidney.
There was a recent case of a new Warhammer 40K set going up for preorder and people jumped on it and threw preorder listings up on Ebay and Games Workshop contacted Ebay and every listing was pulled.
Yeah... reselling for a higher price is still scalping bud. Doesn't it make it your profession, but it does mean you're scalping.
I hope Steam finds a way to get rid of all their reservations. That way I won't have to wait a year for mine...
Oh, I be waiting for the day when they outlaw private ownership of GPUs and data storage because outlawing crypto is ineffective and the mega-corps want to control everything. :/
As much as I hate crypto, as you've already implied, it has its place in the world.
I am not denying that...bud. I am saying Valve did stop the standard scalpers that use software and algorithms to horde stock, which are the persons about which everyone complains. I am sure you understand this. It would be anti-consumer to sell a piece of hardware that you were not allowed to resell and I doubt it would be legal.
The individual in that video is complaining to complain. It is a simple lack of understanding who the sellers are on Ebay. Reservations are necessary because a company does not have the production lines necessary to make enough to meet the demand. In addition this is a new product and a company would be foolish to sink enough money into facilities when they have no idea of the reception of their product. In addition even vehicle manufacturers are having to scale back features due to chip shortages so that doubtless has an impact on supply as well.
Addendum: If you look at the number available on ebay and consider these listings are for one unit each and not multiples from the same supplier, the number of units for resale is actually quite small.

Evidence of what I mentioned above which is not throwing the company under the bus without an understanding of the demand. Here they mention using the preorder data to balance supply chains:

Chinese are now selling their used GPUs.

Not even bothering with the video. 90% of the videos have little factual information and are just a bunch opinionated ranting.
The current resell is incredibly stupid -- reason there's 0 bids. They're not even selling an actual item, they're trying to sell their spot in line "confirmed" order. Until they have it in hand... dumb as ♥♥♥♥.
Ha ha spot on. It is idiocy of a high caliber only to be equaled by someone purchasing from them.
It's going to get absolutely ugly.
