Battery health rapidly decreasing.
Hello I received my deck 12 days ago.
I bought the 20% off version (I'm not sure if it relates to my problem)
Yesterday I noticed that my battery health dropped from 100% on arrival down to 60% which is quite ridiculous. This happened approx around the time when I updated the system which finished with restart.
I tried to restart it again today and then the health dropped again to 45% along with the nice new orange text saying that I should start looking for a battery replacement. Does that sound like a legitimate battery issue or more like a calibrator is giving wrong info about battery?

How long does the battery last? If it matches the specifications then it's all fine.

The battery lasts about two-two and a half hours of gaming, which is normal as far as I know. I'm more worried whether the battery is faulty to the point where it could damage the whole deck.

If you are concerned log a ticket with Valve.

Well then it's fine.

I'd ignore it, mine battery health still reads 100% after a year and a half, and I charge it to max 100% by topping it off every chance I get. Makes no sense, it's inaccurate.

I'm going to provide a different point of view, not that any others are wrong.

If your battery health was low when you received it, and it hasn't moved; I would agree not to worry about it. My LCD Deck arrived with the Battery Health reading 80%. In the year and a half that I used it, it never changed (and I never tried the re-calibration process).

IMO, if the battery health is "dropping", I would log a ticket with Valve. They may have you go through the re-calibration routine and that may do the trick. But I'm a firm believer in pointing out a concern so if it becomes a problem later, you can point to when you first alerted the business.
