Progressive web apps (PWA) in gaming mode?
Has anyone found a good / reliable way of installing progressive web apps in gaming mode?

I like to use my steam deck to stream movies and/or read ebooks while at the coffee shop (between gaming sessions or when their Wi-Fi isn't quite fast enough for online gaming), but I currently have to either navigate all the way to the sites via Chrome (installed as a non-steam game) or switch to desktop mode to click my desktop links (installed with the help of flatseal). I'd love to be able to just click a Netflix or Kindle link from the initial startup page in the gaming mode.

Any ideas?

You can have multiple shortcuts for the same app. For example, you could have a shortcut that launches Netflix in a console like manner.

Assuming you have chrome installed from the Discovery Store (flatpak).

- Open Chrome and navigate to "chrome://apps"
- Right-click on the app you want and open "App Settings"
- On the URL bar you should have something like "chrome://app-settings/<long_id>"
- Copy the "<long_id>"
- Add a new Chrome shortcut into Steam.
- Edit the shortcut and add at the end:

--app-id="<long_id>"

This should open Chrome in "App mode" for the desired app.
I have no Idea how this will look like in Gaming mode, but give it a try :)
