(Kinda) Simple Question: What exactly does the “Use Native Color Temperature” setting (under Display options) do?
I see some sources say it uses the old color scheme prior to the sRGB color tweaks in SteamOS 3.5, but then other sources say it uses the native color temp of your active display—that is to say, it adjusts the color temp to match the native color temp on either the built-in display (while in handheld) or your external TV or monitor (while docked).

My hunch is that it’s the 2nd one, because toggling it makes no change at all to the colors while in handheld mode on the OLED, but a dramatic difference when docked to my TV.

Should one always have this enabled for external displays to have accurate colors and is my hunch of how it works correct? It’s been a surprisingly difficult thing to answer for some reason (maybe I’m just being dumb tho; that’s always a possibility). Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer 😅.
