TPM is a separate problem than Windows.
https://boilingsteam.com/an-in-depth-look-at-the-steam-deck-apu/
Steam Deck SoC is custom and the original design probably didn't promise TPM. Valorant depends on all hardware security features.
Also in valve defence I want to say that every game goes smooth on steam deck except valorant. I tested many games like (windows) fortnite, rainbow six; Steamos: gta 5, gta 4, cyberpunk, mirrors edge, cuphead etc etc etc. but if you download it instead of buying you need to get into solving some problems like installation of c++ redistributables using proton fix. So I'm glad I bought it but valve! Please add secure boot to bios!
TPM secure boot needs signed keys for it to work. Valve will need to talk to Microsoft about this issue. Valve does not have complete control in this area.
I am on the side of against it because Valve may have less ability to open up the BIOS.
Many of us want open firmware and do not care about OEM fTPM security features.

The OP opened up saying he installed Windows 10.
