Steam Tinker Launch No Menu

I just installed STL on my steam deck, but for some reason both in game and desktop mode when I launch a windows game with it, no configuration window shows and it goes straight to proton 8 to launch the game. Does anyone know anything about this?

Just to make sure, you have enabled "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and have chosen "Steam Tinker Launch" prior to launching the game?

Yes I have that option enabled, what happens is I get a notification (in desktop mode)nthat it is using proton 8.

Checked, my locals are properly configured.

I would suggest the next steps:

1. Check the logs
2. Create an issue for the developer (the dev is pretty responsive and is on many forums)
