How to boot straight into desktop mode?
I am trying to install steamos on my P.C. because regular arch is a pain in the butt to install, and since I'll be gaming anyway, I figured stemos would be fine. And I don't want people going "You shouldn't be using this as a desktop replacement!" - I have my reasons. Anyway, I want to figure out how to boot directly into desktop mode. The only information I could find with google are just 9 year old reddit posts. Can someone help?

Why not look into Bazzite or ChimeraOS? Might be better for a desktop.

I said I have my reasons and I don't want people telling me to change my distro. I know you're trying to be helpful, but I really want to stick with steamos.

Ok, so this is weird - the first, second and third time I booted it was game mode, but I just restated and now it is starting in desktop mode.
