Water Damage
Last night my cats spilled soup onto my steam deck and I’m not sure if I can get it fixed with the one year warranty or not? Would anyone know if it’s covered of what I should do?

I don't think accidental damage is covered, but you can send a ticket and try anyway.

this is why dogs are better. the dog would have ate the soup leaving nothing to spill

"The Deck came with that soup all over it! Honest!"
or ask if they have any crackers they can spare...

I would say this is very unlikely to be covered by a Valve warranty.
In the UK, we have accidental damage covered by house insurance, so if you have that, then it's probably worth pursuing that route instead.
