Deck return policy?
Anyone have experience having to return one? I have the LCD and can’t decide on upgrading. Since we can’t see it in store I guess buying it is the only way to see if it’s worth it. However I don’t want a hassle. Do they make you pay for shipping it back as well? Restocking free?
I was leaning towards the legion go but just saw it at Microcenter and it may just be way too heavy for even in the bed gaming. But man is that thing cool.

I don't have experience with returning one, but here are links to the HARDWARE REFUND POLICY https://store.steampowered.com/hardware_order_terms , Valve Hardware RMA Guide https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/04AE-8A9A-F64E-D165 , and Valve Hardware Return Packaging Guide https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/307F-A625-1F33-3247

They refund the cost of the device and the base shipping costs for the initial delivery. You have to pay for the return shipping yourself.

What does that come to usually?

Let me guess if something happens to it , tough luck? Idk why a huge corporation wouldn’t pay for proper shipping. Also no option to extend the warranty or add accidental. This is making me lean towards the legion go because I can add full warranty to it with accidental.

I ordered both the OLED LE and the regular OLED model to see if the LE was worth the price for me. I kept the LE, I did not pay for return shipping on the regular OLED one and I received the a full refund. I am in the US tho, it might be different in other countries.
Wild they can sell a product that can’t even boot on its own. Then won’t cover shipping on the return hahaha

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
