I appreciate the link, but I have no idea what they're talking about in that thread. I know next to nothing about Windows and I know even less about Linux.
If you're on stable, try switching to beta. If you're on beta, try switching it to stable.
Edit:
I was experiencing the same weird crashes having switched to Beta again. Same reason I switched it to stable in the first place. Switched it back to stable and everything seems fine again. Wifi is connecting.
Yeah, I don't have any problems connecting. As long as I go into the Wi-Fi options and manually connect, it connects instantly. It just won't do it automatically, which is the part that's becoming a bit annoying.
THE FIX:
I switch SD to desktop mode. Went to settings, and scrolled down to the part that lists your wired and wireless connections. Here's the kicker, the wireless section that shows all the wireless connection that you have connected to showed that there were 2 identical listings of my home wifi. It should only be one.
I deleted both of them and reconnection to the wifi.
SD now auto connects after sleeping or after restarting.
