The lack of a screensaver for Deck OLED while downloading is awful
As someone who has owned OLED devices like the vita in the past and has used an OLED television for gaming over the last several years, I know firsthand every OLED display will wear and start looking weird after long periods of displaying static images.

Rather than a Dim option, can we simply have a display off, console on option for long periods of downloading? It could seriously be as straightforward as a program that fullscreens 100% black to not wear the pixels down. Dimming, no matter what anyone says, is not sufficient to prevent OLED display degradation.

Well known and oft requested, even before the OLED released.

Your mention of a "screensaver". I vote for that option. Bring them back. Put different ones in the points store. Let me have flying toasters on my OLED Deck while my games are downloading.

This would be nice to have. I ended up resorting to attaching my Deck to a dock and letting the TV be my main display so I could switch to a different HDMI input and watch something else while I downloaded all of my games. Not everyone is going to want to invest in a dock, though.

(if there isn't already one for the same topic)

For those that don't want to use Desktop Mode for downloads (as it will automatically blank the screen) can use the beta version of Reshadeck:

https://github.com/safijari/Reshadeck

It's manual, but you can blank the screen in Game Mode with it while you are downloading.
