XenoVerse 2 help
Hey guys was hoping someone on here could help me out. I'm trying to get the mods and stuff working on my steam deck but I can't install windows so I'm using Linux. Has anybody successfully installed mods on Linux for this game? And if so could u please show me how

To get mods working in steam deck for XV2 places the files you would do normally to mod. Then go to desktop mode and download Lutris to actually use the software to install the mods, After there should be an alternative DLL that says Dinput8. Place that in the bin folder and switch back to gaming mode. Lastly go to XV2 and go to properties then scroll down to Launch Options and copy then paste this

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%

That should be all you have to do to get mods working in steam deck. Least that's how I got it to work

The game runs but my character doesn't move at all, like I can access settings but the buttons don't work nor the joystick when I want to move. I tried using xinput but that didn't let me use any of the buttons

Not sure cuz I dont mod mine but if I understand properly, you have to use the alternative dll
