GLS shipping hell thread
Its been five days since the last update from GLS, the update is from 30/11 at 00.40 and says "left the parcel center, in transit" from the netherlands. I'm in italy and that route shouldnt take more than 2 days! GLS is ♥♥♥♥ tier and you can't even reach them by phone. Should I write Steam? Whats your experience? I had no such problems with the LCD model last year, it arrived in 3 days and its the same route.

December 9, after exactly 2 weeks from ordering my Deck its finally in my hands. Its been hell, but now its finally over. In my case it was just a matter of me being too anxious and GLS being full for the holidays. Don't lose hope guys, it will arrive.

No, I was just going to ask steam if it was normal.

Now it get´s even weirder. Yesterday my shipping status said "shipment soon" today it changed to "exchanged" (translating from German so it might not be perfect). Still no tracking number.
My original GLS tracking showed "returned to sender" yesterday. Today it says "left the parcel center"... the same text it showed for me from Nov 29th onwards, without changes.

I ordered on December 8, they shipped 11 via GLS, received on December 15) I live in the West of the Republic of Ireland. Good luck guys getting your Decks

Glad to read that I'm not the only one having problems with GLS... I live in northern Germany. The notification from GLS said my parcel would be delivered on Dec. 15th between 10:15 and 13:15. I was at home the whole day, GLS tracking said that the parcel was on the way but strangely there was no live data available and nothing happened. At 15:23 the status changed: The parcel couldn't be delivered because the delivery was refused!! Of course I didn't refuse it and that would have been impossible anyway because there was definitely no person from GLS here! I called GLS in Germany immediately and the guy said he would notify the depot and they would try another delivery on Monday. I still don't see this happening - at 16:13 the status changed again: The parcel is back at the depot because I refused it... At the moment I think that the next update will be "returned to sender". This is really frustrating... :(

Why don't You go to the depot and pick up this parcel by yourself? I think it's the best way to collect it cause there is a high risk of returning to sender.

The depot is not around the corner, it's about 60 kilometres away from where I live. But I have also thought about this option already - if the status hasn't changed tomorrow morning, I'll give them another call and try to pick it up there.

Ordered mine on December 27th, the last update was from Dec 30th at 00:28 saying that "the parcel has left the parcel center". I know it's a bad time to buy due to holydays, but I'm getting anxious and can't wait to have it here.

I recently ordered one and was tracking it since 02/02/2024, but now the parcel number I have isn’t being recognised by GLS. Have you guys experienced this?

Hi guys, I'm from Italy, living in a small town. Today was the day, I should have received the Deck, GLS of course, but it didn't happen because "your address is incorrect", but it wasn't, I receive a lot of stuss at my address, even from GLS without any problem, but this time the courier didn't call me (Usually they do, i live in a very bad spot, maybe Valve didn't share my phone number? idk i wrote it when asked)

Now, I have used Steam Support some hours ago (in italian, dunno if it makes any difference) and no answer yet, called the nearest GLS depot where my package should be and it wasn't really helpful and some minutes ago my Parcel Tracking number on the link from the Steam Details page isn't showing on the GLS Europe site ("Unfortunately there are no results") but i can still see the status on the italian page (different tracking)

Planning to call again the Depot tomorrow morning and see if they can give to me the package (if it's there ofc), but maybe I need some help from the sender?
I'm a little bit confused and if you have any advice I'm sure it will help in any case, thank you!
