GLS shipping hell thread
Its been five days since the last update from GLS, the update is from 30/11 at 00.40 and says "left the parcel center, in transit" from the netherlands. I'm in italy and that route shouldnt take more than 2 days! GLS is ♥♥♥♥ tier and you can't even reach them by phone. Should I write Steam? Whats your experience? I had no such problems with the LCD model last year, it arrived in 3 days and its the same route.

Edit:
December 9, after exactly 2 weeks from ordering my Deck its finally in my hands. Its been hell, but now its finally over. In my case it was just a matter of me being too anxious and GLS being full for the holidays. Don't lose hope guys, it will arrive.

No, nothing
In my case, the deck arrived in italy(Sordio) and left the hub to my city and now it’s 5 days they just write not arrived in the local gls center…can’t deliver… I have really bad sensations

i ordered mine on the 16th from germany. Left the parcel center from Netherlands since 21th. At this point nothing happend :( Steam Ticket said i should wait because of holidays. GLS said they cannot locate mine i should contact the shipper. ¯\(°_o)/¯ Right now i just hoping i will get mine before christmas.

Ok. I should get it today. It’s out for delivery. All in all it takes 3 days so it was extremely quick for me. I guess I was lucky.

You were very lucky. Mine has shipped on 30/11 and never updated since. It still sais it's in the Netherlands. This situation is just ridiculous and Steam should at the bare minimun make a post about it and offer some discounts.
I received an answer from Steam with an explanation that the shipment that started on the 28th can take up to 8 days to arrive, and that in any case it is an indicative time window due to many factors including weather, holidays, next number of orders. Well its something at least. They didnt even respond to me. So me and you are both on the 30/11 boat and if what they say is correct we wont get our decks before next week since here in Italy the 8th is holiday and than theres the weekend.

I contacted their german branch.
Ordered the 29th. Steam Said shipped the 30th and GLS is telling me they dont have it yet.

Can I ask you what country you are from? I ordered mine on the 26th, shipped on the 28th and since 30/11 is stuck "in transit" with no updates still in the Netherlands. Funny thing is steam said delivery in 3 to 5 days.
I ordered on the 18th November. Was informed it had been shipped on the 24th and GLS to this day still insist that they have yet to even receive the package. So, I guess delivery is kind of a lottery around here.

Well I'm from Italy and I kinda resigned to the fact that I wont see my de k before sometime next week. It's shameful that steam still hasn't updated their estimated delivery time on the shop page. If the want to stick with a known bad shipping company they should at least be more honest. As soon as I get my deck I will leave 1 star reviews on any site that allows me to. I know its useless, but if many of us do the same maybe it will have some impact.

You're fine, it's in transit, me, steam tells me they've given it to GLS, GLS tells me they haven't got it themselves...
