GLS shipping hell thread
Its been five days since the last update from GLS, the update is from 30/11 at 00.40 and says "left the parcel center, in transit" from the netherlands. I'm in italy and that route shouldnt take more than 2 days! GLS is ♥♥♥♥ tier and you can't even reach them by phone. Should I write Steam? Whats your experience? I had no such problems with the LCD model last year, it arrived in 3 days and its the same route.

December 9, after exactly 2 weeks from ordering my Deck its finally in my hands. Its been hell, but now its finally over. In my case it was just a matter of me being too anxious and GLS being full for the holidays. Don't lose hope guys, it will arrive.

I also have the same problem! Last updated on 30/11. I contacted gls but they don't answer and even Steam support is not responding to me. How should I do it?

I also wrote to steam and I'm waiting for a reply. Where are you from? GLS customer service is one of the worst in the industry its ridiculous, you cant talk with a human on the phone and I wrote them an email only to be told "sorry your parcel is not in Italy yet we cant help you, write to the sender so they can write our Netherlands branch". Valve really shoud offer an option to pay like 20$ more and have FedEx as a choice.

I ordered mine Saturday. it was send to me yesterday.
Status of shipping is "The parcel has left the parcel center. (Netherlands)
Hopefully it will be fast. Delivery is plan to be this Thursday.

I'm from Italy The order was placed on 27/11 and the shipment started on 30/11 since then nothing. I also contacted gls Holland but I didn't receive any answer, Steam still doesn't answer my question. Did they answer you? I've been waiting for almost 24 hours

No ancora niente. Trovo ridicolo che sia impossibile parlare con un essere umano al telefono. Comunque da quello che leggevo su un'altra discussione c'è gente che ha aspettato più di 10 giorni.. quindi immagino per ora possiamo solo aspettare. Anche il mio ordine è partito il 30/11 quindi è molto probabile che i nostri Deck siano nello stesso camion/spedizione :) Fammi sapere se hai novità, io farò lo stesso. Se e quando mi arriverà il Deck anche se non serve a nulla lascreò recensioni negative a GLS in ogni sito che me lo consente. Giusto per curiosità che modello hai ordinato? Io la oled 512gb visto che ho già la LCD 64gb :)

I have the same problem. The last update was on 29/11 and sind the nothing. I live in northwest Germany not more the 200 kilometers from the Parcel Center away.

Well in a way its actually positive that more of us have the same problem in the sense that its not a "lost package" problem but it just means that GLS times suck as always. As I said to the guy above, in another thread people waited up to 10 days for an update and it eventually came its just very slow due to the holiday season and the high number of orders. I guess we can just wait for now.

Well in a way its actually positive that more of us have the same problem in the sense that its not a "lost package" problem but it just means that GLS times suck as always. As I said to the guy above, in another thread people waited up to 10 days for an update and it eventually came its just very slow due to the holiday season and the high number of orders. I guess we can just wait for now.

I just recieved a message from GLS via Twitter. They say there are problems with the delivery due to the high number of parcels at the moment. So you were right.

Many times transfer to Poland takes them one day less than expected, so there is a chance to Wednesday delivery

FWIW, when the Deck first launched the shipping for the countries outside of North America was averaging around 2 to 2.5 weeks. No idea why there are delays, but that's what most were experiencing. Not to say no one ever got them sooner, but that was usually the minority rather than the majority.

Same problem, parcel has left gls 0:50 30.11 and this is the last status. Friend who ordered his deck 10h later has his deck since yesterday. Gls is worst company ever.

I think that all of us here should file a complaint or at least leave negative reviews on google or any other sites. It is not acceptable how GLS treats their customers. Their customer "care" is non existent and its almost impossible to speak with an actual human.

I ordered to Sweden on the 16th and haven't received mine yet. I have tracking that it was sent from a nearby city on the 1st but haven't had any update since.

That is not acceptable. Steam said 3 to 5 days """estimated""" delivery time in my case. Both GLS and Steam should be held accountable.
