FIX: Audio crackling/static on 3.5mm headphone jack of Steam Deck OLED

After the recent reports from several Steam Deck telegram channels and posts under this sub, it is confirmed that some Deck Oled's come with an audio issue that is noticeable in some of the devices when a headphone via cable is connected. You can test on your device to check if your Deck has this issue. Just connecting some headphones via the jack and navigating around the menus you should hear some static noise, even if the volume is at zero. If it happens to you, then it means you are affected by this issue as well(It seems that some people are not affected by this, so you may be on of this lucky people).

The solution is simple, just put some electrical insulation tape under the two screws pointed(check attached image) enough to avoid the screw's head touching the ground of the board, with this, wuala, the issue is gone and your Deck is fixed.

Can you be a little more specific? Are "the two screws at the corners" the ones on the daughter board that holds the audio jack? By "stick electrical tape under the screw" do you mean to cover the contacts on the PCB, under the pcb, the metal insert the screw drives into, or something else?

I've had some crackling once but I assumed it was a software issue and restarted the Deck. Solved my problem. Good to know though.
