I guess I have no choice but to cancel it if it isn't handed over to GLS tomorrow.
Any update on receiving your Steam Deck monster_kid?
I am still in a fight with Parcel Force over this. I made a formal complaint, received a call from a useless ♥♥♥♥ in their “Chief Executive Office “ today.
Spouting the same nonsense that it should’ve went to GLS Dublin and not GLS UK and basically blaming it on GLS. But hey what do you know, I have just found out Parcel farce and GLS are the same company.
So I have to escalate my complaint and asked why they couldn’t send it on to GLS Dublin on the 1st December instead of letting sit 10 days. They are still suggesting that it will take 2-3 weeks to be returned to Netherlands and then who knows after that.
So I have now raised a complaint with Steam and am demanding a replacement be sent via a different courier.
Long story short, if yours is in Coventry then you may end up in the same bull$hit nonsense that I am caught up in so you be best challenging them on it. If yours went to Dublin then your probably fine

If I were you mate I’d cancel it, it took 10 days for mine to arrive but it sat in the Netherlands for 9 of those from what the tracking stated which going off their track record isn’t to be believed anyway.
Valve need to rethink their courier partners
Mine was like this for 9 days and only updated the night before delivery.
Finally received my Steam Deck. My original order was ‘lost in transit’ after asking Steam to investigate after no updates for 10 working days.
A new one was sent out and arrived very quickly, I was not expecting it to arrive before Christmas.
If you have been waiting for a while I encourage those to get steam to investigate your order.
All the best everyone.
Impressively quick turnaround though - sorry to the folks who are suffering with delays.
@PurpleStorm25, turns out my situation was similar to yours. I ordered my Steam Deck on Nov 24th and it was was "on its way to the final parcel centre" since Nov 30th for ages. Steam customer support also confirmed my order was "lost in transit", and they agreed to resend it.
Once they resent it, it arrived in less than a week. I'm based in Northern Ireland, and @mckeodec was having customs issues with their steam deck being sent via the Netherlands. However, the second time they sent the steam deck it also went through the Netherlands with no issues.
Overall, a nightmare, but it could've been worse (RIP @mckeodec). I'm glad it's finally resolved. I hope everyone else gets theirs soon!
Next day SD arrived. Today another one from Valve, 2 days in customs and arrived.
Long story short, pure bs from parcel farce and GLS who are the same company. If anyone else on here lives in NI and same issue (sat in customs UK in Coventry for at least 12 days) make a formal complsint to parcel farce
(Not the normal contact us).
So second deck will be returned , still waiting on steam to send me proper return label.
And on positive note - loving the SD and merry Christmas to all
