If it interests you, here is my delivery update timeline, so you can see what the delivery journey looked like for me:
16th November: Steam Deck OLED 1TB ordered.
21st November: Order shipped with GLS tracking info provided.
22nd November: Parcel left Parcel Center (Netherlands).
25th November: Parcel arrived at Parcel Force National, then Local Hub. (UK)
27th November: Parcel delivered
When your parcel arrives in the UK, you will receive an email from Parcel Force with an expected delivery date, along with a link to their tracker. This email also includes the options to reschedule your delivery, leave the parcel with a neighbour or leave it at your local Post Office.
Also, on the delivery date, you'll receive a timeslot, and a link to a live GPS tracker where you can track the delivery van's journey to your address.
According to the tracking the parcel was sent on 25th November but has yet to show any change or actual delivery date despite it now being two weeks since I ordered it. I wouldn't be so concerned if it hadn't been sent yet but it is worrying when a parcel shows no change in status in over a week. What on earth are they doing at the parcel centre?
3-5 working days delivery, passing 10 working days now.
Even the Parcel force tracking shows nothing!
Travelling abroad for work in a week, so I may not even get it in time :(
According to the GLS-info [www.gls-info.nl] tracking page my order has not even left the GLS Netherlands warehouse, which explains a lot.
I do not know why GLS have seperate websites e.g GLS-europe with their own track and trace instead of just the one
Parcel Force delivered on the Sunday? Mine arrived at Parcel Force Saturday and sat there until Monday as expected, as Sunday delivery costs more.
Not sure if that really means it's been sitting on a shelf for 6 days or they are just not into communication, but it seems like Steam has a really bad logistics partner. It gets the whole experience off to a bad start.
That's crazy, as mine was ordered Nov 16 @ 6:19pm (was trying since launch but the site was broken) Shipped on Nov 21, 2023 and didn't arrive until the 27th.
