2.4 ghz wireless audio adapter issue
I recently upgraded to the Steam Deck OLED. I’m running the latest firmware (and I’ve tried stable, beta, and preview too).

I’m using Sony Inzone Buds which come with a 2.4 ghz wireless adapter that goes into the USB C port. With my LCD Steam Deck, it was plug and play with no issues. With my OLED Steam Deck, the receiver isn’t being recognized at all. There’s a little light that’s supposed to come on the adapter and it’s not on.

I’ve plugged in a usb c hub, and then the receiver into the hub, and that works, but it’s pretty frustrating to have to have a hub plugged in to get the receiver to work.

Is there a driver I can install, setting I can change, or anything I can do to get this receiver recognized by my Steam Deck directly?

dtd have a few issues right now. You can turn it off in the bios and change to xhci.

Valve will probably fix the usb c within a month so you can reenable dtd.

Thank you so much! Booted into bios, changed USB from DRD to XHCI and it’s working as intended again. I’ll keep an eye out for updates but this is great for now. Thanks again!

Remember to submit a support ticket to Valve. They should know your port is not working.

Btw, I believe 3.5.7 had an usb update.

I have a ticket open, I will update with this info. I’m currently on 3.5.7.
